We're Remote First: We've been fully distributed since Employee #1. We have teammates across the globe who have the flexibility to work from home or wherever they can do their best work. Team Size
We’re currently a team of sixteen, and we intend to continue growing over the next year. We raised a Series A back in 2019, led by Thrive and Maverick Capital, and have already achieved significant traction in our business ($20+ Million ARR), and are working to grow even faster!

Work / Life Balance
As a distributed team, we enjoy the flexibility of working from home, local co-working spaces, or our favorite coffee shops. We work across several time zones but most employees are typically online between 9am and 6pm local time and are located between ET and PT. Ultimately, though, we care more about the impact we make than the number of hours we put in.We don’t expect colleagues to work late on weekdays or on weekends and plan our work so this isn’t necessary. As such, if any work does happen during this time, it’s driven by personal ambition and/or preference. We encourage each other to share our personal and work style preferences — e.g. time/schedule boundaries, when we’re online/offline, how to support each other’s boundaries — and place an emphasis on asynchronous collaboration in the form of well-documented, openly accessible knowledge.At Aptible, we praise focus and seek leverage as we plan our work. Individually, we plan our work to make the biggest impact with the least amount of precious time. Sleep is leverage: We believe in getting enough of it. Health is leverage: We take pride in our physical and mental health benefits. It will take years to reach our most ambitious goals, so we aim to perform at a high level over a long period of time.Think about something that you've wanted to accomplish but simply haven't found the time for. Working remotely adds a few more hours into the "life" part of the equation, whether it's being able to learn a new language, taking your dog for a midday stroll, or having more quality time with loved ones.Speaking of quality time, working remotely also allows those of us with children to maximize our time with them. This could take the form of being able to take on carpool drop-off rather than an hour-long commute in the morning, or the ability to run to a midday event at school without having to take a full day off. We believe that just as sleep and health are leverage, so too is being able to take care of the things that are most important to you.

Performance Evaluations
We conduct structured Performance Reviews on a quarterly basis, but it's important to us that employees surface feedback — both positive and critical — on a day-to-day basis. To this end, we encourage everyone to test assumptions and discuss differences of opinion openly at Aptible.

We have a dedicated HR Team. We handle each departure and dispute with care on a case-by-case basis, but always with fairness and respect.
