Our mission is to build a safer financial system for billions of people. We tackle challenges in data engineering, data science, and threat intelligence to help financial institutions, crypto businesses, and government agencies detect and investigate crypto-related financial crime and fraud.

Where do we work?

We are a fully remote, global team. We have employee Hubs in San Francisco, Washington DC and London, where our largest concentration of team members live.


Our team is just over 100 with plans to hire ~80 team members in 2022.

On a day to day basis, we communicate through Zoom, Slack, Notion, Loom and in-person meetings. We bring everyone together once a year for a full company retreat. Individual teams organize work retreats on a quarterly basis. This is encouraged for team bonding and camaraderie.

We are about to launch TRM’s formal performance review process in Q3 2022.

Interview Process

TRM’s interview process can move as quickly as the candidate wants to. Applications are reviewed daily by hiring managers and a member of TRM will reach out through email to set up an intro video call with candidates that are relevant and a potential match to our open positions.

If a candidate is not a match at application stage, they will receive an email from TRM’s recruiting team notifying them there is not a match at this time to move forward with interviews,

TRM’s interview process is detailed below for Engineering/Data Science/Blockchain Intelligence teams. All other teams follow a similar process and substitute a skills-based interview for the Technical Assessment round.
