The Role

LTSE’s Content Strategist will manage LTSE Equity’s content calendar and execution, creating long-form content, managing content resources, and crafting the sound and voice of the brand. The Content Strategist will work cross-functionally to develop unique story ideas, drive ideation for original content, and manage the execution of content across web, social, data reports, and more.  This position will work closely with growth, partnerships, customer success, and sales to develop channel specific content for lead generation and sales enablement. As the first content hire, this person will be responsible for both managing external resources for long-form content and will be expected to write both short-form and long-form content on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing the brand’s editorial calendar across web and social media
  • Overseeing writing style and tone for all content
  • Developing content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensuring they are followed
  • Tracking and calculating content ROI
  • Writing and editing strategic, clear, creative and clean SEO-driven copy in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborating with growth marketers to create content that fits into the larger marketing strategy

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content strategy, or freelance writing.
  • Experience writing for and working with B2B SaaS for early-stage startups.
  • Experience managing a content calendar and content guidelines
  • Experience writing both short-form and long-form content, from data reports to blog posts to tweets.
  • Experience managing relationships with content freelancers and agencies.
  • Strong technical writing skills, especially when it comes to search engine optimization.
  • Strong personal skills, must be able to work across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting data from third-party platforms and adapt to custom internal tools. Must be familiar with Google Analytics.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience establishing editorial guidelines from scratch.
  • Previous experience writing for and working with early-stage investors, services, and law firms.
