Today, a female founder found that Benedict Evans blocked her without any provocation. There was no inappropriate comment. Only likes, and appropriate comments. Nothing even that could be interpreted poorly.

He simply just didn't like seeing comments that did have relevance.

The hilarious thing is that he's trying to be seen as an expert in the future of tech, etc. but he can't stand to see a woman doing her thing.
