✨Office Hours✨Executive VP @ ASTRSK PR (Experience with startups, funding, unicorns, consumer, tech, scaling)
I’ve been in PR for almost 10 years, hustling every second of that time. I graduated early from St. John's University while working 40 hours/week, interning in NYC every semester. I didn’t land a PR job until a year & a half after graduating. Once I did, I hustled my 🍑 off across three PR firms (oh and getting let go at the first one) before finding my *home* at ASTRSK. In less than 4 years, I’ve gone from an SAE to managing 35+ clients around the globe at any given time, almost 20 team members, overseeing hiring, pitched dozens of new biz, announced hundreds of millions in funding, took a unicorn public, am ASTRSK’s first Executive VP & I’m just getting started 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼I’d love to chat with anyone who’s interested in a career in PR, isn’t sure what next steps to take in their PR (or any) career, being told no over and over again and how to let that fuel you, how to kick the sh*t out of that glass ceiling, interviewing 101, how to be a better manager, media relations advice, or just wants to connect! Whatever it is, I’ve been there.A few years ago, I never would have offered up to speak to anyone (what do I know?!) but guess what? You have to be your own biggest cheerleader, know just how great you are and be willing to pass it along 🗣🗣🗣🗣 Message me or drop questions below!
