Hiring a technical/product team member

Hello everyone! I am a non technical founder of an art and technology company and just relocated to the Bay Area. I'm looking for a team member with tech experience or PM who has worked with dashboards and/or network based start ups. Or even gaming backround. I have tapped into a few alumni networks in the bay area and going to networking events as well, but wondering if anyone in this community has any tips or insights as to what might have worked for them? As i've heard and read on other threads, I do not want to just hire a cofounder for the sake of hiring one while I fundraise but I also am keen to hire someone fulltime that brings this expertise and daily input to the business. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Devika,There are groups for Women in Product Management or Project Management on Linkedin, Meet Up, Facebook, etc. If you’re looking to cast out a net, try posting the opening on FB. If you want a referral, ask your alumni school for the contact for the local chapter and ask them to put the word out about the opening.There are tons of tech people here. It’s just a matter of getting that referral and the channels you use.DM me and I can refer you. I’m an alumnus of 2 engineering schools. Also I’m in SF.
