Feedback on New Brand for Healthier & Clean Protein Desserthttps://haveakoki.com/

Hi! My friend and I started a healthier dessert brand (haveakoki.com) based in the US. We are currently on pre-order stage and our main audience are women who are into fitness/health concious and moms who are looking for healthier snacks for their kids.

Our first product is a chocolate chip cookies made with clean ingredients and have high protein content, while retaining the bakery like taste. Taste is really important to us, because we think a lot of healthier snacks are not on par with taste, and we want the experience to be different (especially to capture the kids market).

I'd love to tap into this group, if there are anyone who are health concious and / or moms who are into buying healthy snacks, what do you think of the concept and the product positioning? Any thoughts / Feedback would be super appreciated!

yum! i like cookies and i'm pretty health conscious + amping up my protein intake so I think i'd fit the demographic!Just like you, taste is also super important to me and I'd want to eat smth that tastes somewhat like the real deal haha and not just a concentration of whey. My only thing from a business perspective is, it's a known fact that food and bev is a super hard business to scale, terrible margins, and you're competing against a lot of options, which makes it hard for you to get shelf placement in retail stores.
we get that - re f&b business! but we are passionate in the space so would love to know what the consumers are thinking about our product :)
that's great, good luck!!!
Hi! I am not a Mom but I'm surely a cookie monster along with an obsession with nutrition! Have you tried partnering with coffee shops and people who already have a platform to display your product?
we have some influecers who received PR posting about them, but not looking to retain just yet :) This is also targetted towards women who are into fitness! What do you think about the concept?
I love it! Of course, there are many other marketing factors involved. It is a go for me!
I have a strong sweet tooth and am partial to cookies. I also have kids who will devour cookies. I'd love to be able to offer then a healthier alternative and if it has extra protein that's a bonus too! I completely agree that taste is really important. It has to be pretty much on par with the unhealthy version to make the cut. Second, for me, is price. I understand a premium snack will come with a premium price but it can't be too much higher or it's not worth it to me. In my mind my options are free to not eat cookies vs premium price for healthy cookies. But if I'm going to be buying cookies anyway, I'd definitely lean towards a healthier option.
