Struggling to find work!

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for work. I am a Digital Asset Coordinator/ Production Manager looking for a full-time position. I have been searching for over 1 year. I have had very few interviews. I have an associate in Television/Video production and will be done with my BA in English communications/Creative Writing in 2 months. I have adapted my resume to jobs, and written creative, informative cover letters, and yet, nothing! Can someone please help me?

To start with, I don’t know what a digital assist coordinator/production manager is. That sounds like a job title on a hiring board. Not a profession. Are you a producer? Are you trying to get hired in media? Have you done internships in broadcast, and do you belong to any professional organizations? Networking is crucial to breaking into your field.
I share this sentiment and have similar questions!
Hi Ruthie89, no, this is not a title on a job board, this is a real position. It is two positions actually, A Digital Asset Coordinator or a Project manager. (There is also what is called a Project Coordinator which I would be interested in as well.)Digital Asset Coordinators play a critical role in the management and “organization” of a company's digital assets. Responsible for managing, organizing, updating, distributing, editing, deleting, curating, archiving, and “digitally filing” an organization's digital assets. I am also responsible for implementing delivery schedules for media elements and working closely with managers to oversee asset management and the distribution process. I supervise any third-party vendors and facilitate digital asset upload and download.A project manager is a professional who organizes, plans, and executes projects while working within restraints like budgets and schedules. Project managers lead entire teams, define project goals, communicate with stakeholders, and see a project through to its closure.(A Project Coordinator is a professional who is often involved in the day-to-day operations of their assigned projects. They organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between team members and managers.)These types of positions that I am looking for are used in Digital companies, multi-media companies, Video production companies, and so on.The reason I am reaching out is that I have exhausted looking at all of the usual places to find a position and was hoping that someone on this board could help refer me to a position that they might know about.Best
Hello! I unfortunately do not know your space at all like who hires such roles? What kinds of companies are you looking at (bonus if you have names you can throw to guide us) The second part is i'm wondering if there are adjacent roles at mediaish related companies you could take eg. Netflix, Amazon studios, smaller boutique studioIdk if she's hiring but you might be interested in this https://elpha.com/posts/kt6o2zcc/want-to-invest-in-a-broadway-show-celebrating-the-fight-for-a-woman-s-right-to-vote
