Do something good for yourself - skip the resolutionshttps://todayistapp.medium.com/be-honest-how-long-do-those-new-years-resolutions-actually-stick-around-19a129a48ede
Hello and happy new year ladies! I've seen a number of posts this week about productivity and resolutions for 2021. If you've been thinking about making New Years' Resolutions, please be careful how you frame your goals - the last thing any of us need after the past year is to inadvertently make life harder for ourselves.A suggestion: Instead of “lose 20 pounds” or “go to the gym 30 times a week” (kidding), try “take better care of my body”.This creates flexibility around how your goal shows up day to day. Maybe there’s time for that run — great! Maybe today’s best is a 2 min stretch break between meetings —also great! You can see how approach creates more flexibility, so you can have a more positive relationship with your intention over time.I published my first ever Medium story on this topic a few days ago - you can visit the link if you're interested in reading a bit more.
