Seeking Help for Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst roles

I'm reaching out to this amazing community for help. As an international student, finding a job in the current market is challenging, and I'm seeking opportunities in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles.

I hold a Master’s in Information Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. My experience includes enhancing data processing efficiency as a Graduate Research Assistant at UMD, automating key performance dashboards as a Data Analyst Intern at Vanguard Supply Chain Solutions, and developing a scalable data warehouse and Power BI dashboards at Ericsson Global India. I also collaborated with over 20 law enforcement and community organizations at the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives (GOCI), improving community satisfaction by 35%.

I’m passionate about using data to drive strategic decisions and enhance operational efficiency. If you know of any opportunities or can offer advice, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Hi Tanya, fellow international student here (well it's been a while now but I was once haha) and I feel the pain. Since you have a STEM degree, you should have your 3 year ext. on your OPT, right? If possible, try to find some volunteering related to your field if you haven't already for the initial OPT. And also contact your school about it as well if they can find any paid position within the school. A couple of my acquaintances have gotten such help during their OPT. Best wishes :)
