Looking to relocate

"Strong" and "growing" are relative terms. We are certainly very proud of our tech community. But, DEI efforts are annoyingly just as confident (despite data that should not have folx be so confident IMHO). Of course, I have fairly radical, impatient ideas about DEI. So, maybe it's relatively good -- or slow, depending on your perspective. In the most positive light, Austin is a booming, bustling, very fun, helpful place to be. People are open and friendly. The weather is great (if you don't mind the heat in the long summers). The downside is that it's the South. Serious upside: there is a great group of mouthy women in tech/female founders who are pushing back against #techchad bs. So, it's a fun time to be in this vertical, IMHO.
