How to get into PM?

Hi all lovely PMs,As somebody early on in their career having done a bit of accounting, 1y+ of VC and an econ degree, I decided in the next 5 years I'd like to start something on my own. A natural next step within the next 2-3 years would be to get into product as I found out to enjoy the daily challenges PM roles get and get some more operational experience. What would you recommend as a path? Startup vs corporate? Early stage vs later stage? Would you recommend venture building or more permanent business? What shall I aim to learn before hand? I'm mostly looking for resources and/or people I can ask a gazillion questions (after prior research obvs).My current day to day is speaking with entrepreneurs in a nascent deep tech market and then helping companies we've invested in with fundraising and go to market strategies. It includes a fair amount of managing people's expectations and being flexible around how different teams work.I'm based in London so any local PMs, please join the conversation!
