Does your organization do any voter engagement?

Hello! I work for BallotReady, a company that builds voter information tools - find your polling place, see who's on your ballot, see the rules to vote by mail, etc.

We're interested in increasing engagement during off-cycle elections, and I'm doing a round of user research with organizations who do voter engagement work to see what we can do to make our tools work well for off-cycle work particularly.

If you do voter education or voter turnout, I'd love to hear about how your work differs on-cycle vs. off-cycle and what kind of tools you'd be interested in using in the off-cycle. If your organization doesn't do any off-cycle work, but does do presidential and mid-term years, I would love to hear about that strategy as well.

Would love to see notes in the comments or, even better, DM me if you're up for a conversation!

- Does your organization do off-cycle voter engagement?

- If not, why not?

- If so, how does your strategy in off-cycle differ from your on-cycle strategy?

- Who at your organization manages your off-cycle voter engagement efforts?

- What tools would make your off-cycle work easier, more efficient, or more effective?

Thanks!
