I just relocated to NYC a few months back and had planned to stay here for ~2 years or so. However I am interviewing this week for a PgM role with Google that (from my understanding) requires a location near the team in Austin/Atlanta or a few other cities. I'm not sure how to approach the conversation - because this is truly a dream role - so I'm willing to move, but not until the end of this current year.

Do you have any advice on how to chat with the hiring manager about my location/hybrid/remote options so I'm not instantly rejected due to my current location?
