Six months ago @jennablumenthal and I decided to build Anyplace Studio the digital fitness studio of our dreams as a fun side project. In that time we’ve created an online fitness platform that is designed specifically for instructors and students. The platform gives instructors more flexibility with dual teaching modes and visual cues to students’ specific needs. It supports students by allowing them to share injuries and preferred pronouns with their instructor, and expands music settings (toggle the volume yourself!) and camera options (share with everyone, nobody, or just the instructor).

We built this platform after interviewing countless instructors and many live tests (we currently use it for a weekly lunch-yoga-break), but recently we realized that in order to really bring Anyplace Studio forward it needs more time and energy than we want to give. We’re really proud of what we built and think that this product helps to make fitness classes more accessible in a post-pandemic world. With that in mind instead of just shelving the project, or keeping it for own private use, we wanted to see if anybody here was interested in taking it on. Take a look, let us know if any of this resonates, we don’t really have a deal in mind but are open to chatting with anybody that wants to make an offer. It's built mostly React (Twilio for the video), with a pretty minimal Rails API.

We listed Anyplace Studio on Tiny Acquisitions and got picked as one of their “Hand-Picked Tiny Projects”, but wanted to share with this community with the hopes of finding somebody aligned with our vision.
