Hello Elpha, I am interested in employment terms for a CTO and co-founder. I work in an healthcare innovation eco system and am the first CTO on many different products and need to renegotiate my compensation. What are the terms that CTO and co-founders get for a startup? Also what are the job expectations- is it coding or tech design or strategy? I would love your advice and opinions

The employment terms depend on a lot of factors - How many founders? How important is tech to the start-up? Equity vs income? Voting power in a partnership or corporation? How much seed capital is there?If you are in an early startup and a cofounder, you do all things - contribute anywhere that you are needed - tech, design, strategy, ... - to make the startup successful.
