Hi! I am looking for more ways to become involved in the community of women who make up the UX design field, however I am still a college student. Please comment any thoughts!

There's also communities online, try googling UX communities, etc. Find some good newsletters for UX through following some UX leaders on Linkedin and through google search. It doesn't matter if you are only a student as a matter of fact the best time to start is now! Anna gave you some pretty great ideas already. On top of it, leverage your school network, your career management center (e.g company info sessions, coffee chats are a great way to meet with people in your field of choice)And of course student club eg women's group, tech group, product focused group etc
