As women it is very difficult to get our due, but as Black Women it is worst.If Shonda Rhimes, who had 3 blockbuster shows on this network could be treated so. It scares me to think about what you might be going through in your careers.

You know they have to find a way to put Black women in their "place," so I really expect nothing less from a multi-BILLION dollar corporation. 'Tis another day that ends in "y". But we all know this never would have happened to a white woman, let alone a white man who made them a fraction of the money that Rhimes has brought in.

For me, I actually refuse to look at it this way and think of my worth, there is a place for anyone somewhere - if Shonda Rhimes was mistreated (truly disgusting either way) she also knew her value and knew how to play it up - because she has all the data points to prove.When I think about leaving a place/relation or whatever it is, I always think oof the fact that I am the better off in the situation.
