Advice on looking for a co-founder

I've been actively looking for 1-2 co-founders to help me get my startup off the ground and finding it difficult to find the right channels for doing this. I've been hitting up mentors, my alma mater, and cofounderslab but having very little luck. Would love any advice or insights folks have based on their experience looking for cofounders.

hey @calliejn sorry you're having such trouble - have you tried angellist? i posted there and got a lot of responses. just be on the lookout for a couple of things - 1) people who just spam everyone looking for a cofounder. i put an ask in my description - asked them to email me their resume - so if someone applied but didn't send the resume i knew they didn't even read and were spamming everyone. and 2) a lot of people follow up making it sound like they're interested but really want to sell you their consulting services. lots of bait and switch.good luck!
