Since starting my company and entrepreneur journey, I've battled an onset episode of depression (that I haven't battled with since high school), increased GAD, and general self-worth grappling. Doing a lot of work to stay balanced and well, but appreciate this space. Thanks for making it, Vikki. (Let me know if you're in SF!)

Hey Kayla! I'm local to SF (live in San Mateo) and have dealt with anxiety/self-worth issues during my time working at startups. I found coaching 5 years ago and coached myself through those issues and have come out on the other side. I now coach full time (and am opening a fitness studio!) and help others identify the things that make them feel depressed, anxious, and more, so that they can start loosening up those emotions in their bodies and feel better. By pinpointing emotional triggers (which are usually self-inflicted), you'll start to feel more at peace. I can help you work through them in a positive, forward-moving way!Might you be interested in a free phone session with me? Thanks so much!

@vikki thank you so much for sharing your story. This resonates with me so much. There is a false expectation put on our generation that we should work harder, more hours, and achieve more all while trying to take care of our families as well as our physical and mental well-being. This is why I'm organizing Extracurricular Womxn's Summit on March 28. I really hope we can continue having open conversations about topics like this without feeling judged: https://www.extracurricular.co/experiences / 15% discount code for Elphas: ELPHA15
