When to start social media marketing?

I am the founder of a pre-launch women's health startup. I am looking for some advice on when to start hiring for social media marketing. I want to keep building my community through blog content and social media strategy before we launch. However, it takes a lot of time to do that while doing software development work and taking care of other startup related tasks (hiring, contracts).any tips on social media strategy/marketing for someone in my shoes? Is it too early to hire for that role, or not

i have someone part time, who i pay on an hourly rate. it’s really helpful to free up my time. i personally wouldn’t hire someone full time until i’m closer to launch - potentially would do a good pr/comms person closer to launch instead for the news cycle timing

Do you have any recommendations for what I should be looking out for/vetting for? Or any specific PR/Comms person that you’d recommend?
