Looking for a dynamic VP of Engineering with hardware and software experience.

POM, the Peace of Mind Company, provides an innovative, proactive, mobile health and safety solution to higher education and health care organizations, giving people instant access to help when they need it.  Located in the greater New York City metropolitan area, our team is motivated to improve the safety of others by bringing the POM safety system across the US.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President (VP) of Engineering will work across the leadership team to define the Product Roadmap and lead POM’s mobile security solutions, and highly reliable cloud services, to commercial readiness.

The VP of Engineering will lead the team(s) and processes to innovate and continuously improve research & development (R&D), technology development, system architecture, New Product Delivery (NPD), and all-sustaining engineering functions. Critical to success in this role, is ensuring a scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud solution in line with world-class wearable and IoT consumer products.
