I'm curious if you've heard of Render. We just released new free plans so users can get started without entering a credit card. You can scale your sites and webapps when you need to (and only when you need to - there is no way you can be charged without your consent).
Check it out: https://render.com/free
Sharing this because I could have really used it when I was a founder. IndieHackers, Felt, Anker, etc. use it to speed up the time between product idea and result. It's like Heroku, but more modern and full-featured, and less expensive once you grow beyond free. It's straightforward and fast to get automatic deploys and databases set up for your webapps without wasting time on infrastructure.
P.S. I hit pause on my company to work for Render instead. Was right for me at the time and I felt I had more to learn from other founders. So far, I'm learning a lot, seeing their operating principles in action, and feeling encouraged by their approach to DE&I : ))
