✨Reading for Pre-K to 3rd grade✨ aka how my kids not only learned how to read, but also skipped reading levelshttps://justrightreader.com/

A mom-fan post for Just Right Reader (a female-founded start-up!).Why I love Just Right Reader (100% from a customer point of view)Most importantly: When we stopped going to physical school in March my kindergartener was not reading - now he is a level K/L (a second grade reading level). He is confident and proud to call himself a reader. My nephew in 1st grade joined JRR and went from an A reading level to an E in two weeks - the reading specialist helped him calm his frustration with reading, have a growth mindset and generally worked magic. It is two parts:The JRR box:- I love that it is physical books- But these are also physical books that I would not buy - my 1st grader is skipping reading levels quickly, so I can send books back and get the more advanced levels- My kids are super motivated by the stamp chart Reading camp: - In reading camp the kids are in a small group with a reading specialist over Zoom - they have tips and tricks that I just don't know - I love to sit and read with my kids, but if they get stuck on a word, I can't do much more beyond telling them "sound it out" or "rhymes w/ cat" -- the advanced learnings from the specialists have helped the boys make huge strides For my pre-K kid - he is gaining confidence and pride in reading. His group adorably practices how to open a book... and how to use picture clues to figure out what is going on. He is really happy that he has his own books just like his brother and cousin. They all have very repetitive words so he can "read" them himself to anyone who will listen. I asked for a $25 off code for this group - use BOOKLOVE if you sign up. Glad to answer any questions!!Please share other at-home learning tips!
