I wanted to share that applications are now open for the 2021 Interact Fellowship. Interact is a global community of mission-driven technologists who push each other to do good in the world. The Interact Fellowship has traditionally involved a fully-sponsored weekend summer retreat in Northern California, and also includes discussion groups, funded research forums, and frequent online events. I personally have found it super valuable to be part of this community. Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years old. We look for diverse applicants who are (1) uniquely insightful, (2) open-minded conversationalists, and (3) risk-taking self-starters. A “technologist” is anyone who thinks critically about the role of technology in society; our community includes engineers, designers, founders, scientists, artists, and more. You can learn more about Interact and read interviews with Fellows at joininteract.com. If there are any young people in your amazing community who you think would be a good fit for Interact, please let me know.
