Overcoming obstacles with Resilience

Hi everyone! What a week, month, year, pandemic, etc. it's been! I'm grateful to have this community to pull inspiration and community into my life during such a crazy time. While I've been reading everything I can about resilience, I feel that there's a lot of advice and tools to use, but the storyteller in me is dying to hear some real-life stories of overcoming obstacles (including surviving, maybe even thriving during a pandemic). What people, resources, mindset shifts, etc. helped you?I'd love to gather your stories, where against the odds, you've risen from the ashes, you've turned overwhelming emotion into fuel for your next step forward. Maybe you bounced back from burnout, made a career change, or simply got through really challenging life situations. My questions for you are...1. What is an obstacle you had to overcome in your lifetime? Please explain the situation.2. What did it feel like to get close to that obstacle? Can you name the emotions or lack there of?3. How did you overcome the obstacle?4. Who played a part in helping you overcome your obstacle?5. What resources played a part in helping you overcome your obstacle?6. What would you recommend to people who have significant obstacles to overcome?I think this would turn into a great series around resiliency and YOUR story will help inspire others. I'm playing around with the name Resilient Ruth, as my grandmother's name is Ruth and she is the most inspirational person I've met in my life. I can't wait to hear your stories. Also, if you want to remain anonymous, I totally understand! šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™Dani Hart
