Do Certifications Help Someone Get Hired into a SWE role?

Someone was asking me recently about certifications and I was realizing that I've never looked at someone's certifications, but I'm only a single data point. For any of you out there who have hired a software engineer, do you ever pay attention to certifications a candidate may have on their resume (such as Oracle Certified Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification)? Are there any scenarios where you might if you normally wouldn't? (Hiring from a bootcamp or hiring for a specific role or something else?)
