Moonai is looking for a tech lead/app developer to help build and scale our tech department. This role is crucial to our company’s growth, and we are looking for someone to join us full-time. Our current MVP has been built with Dart/Flutter, but we are looking for a role that would be able to grow with us and develop a custom solution, so we are open to other technologies/languages.ABOUT MOONAIMoonai is a femtech start-up developing a mobile app that uses customised and science-based sounds, resources, and pain-tracking insights to help reduce period-related pain.Co-founded by Laura-June Clarke and Helena Rodemann, the project was initiated throughout an incubation program based in Barcelona called Demium.Date of creation: October 2020More information: www.moonai.esRESPONSIBILITIES- Along with the Head of Product, develop and build our user-centric app- Have regular 1-on-1s with team members, and take an active role in code reviews for team members- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and shape the team's roadmap- Keep our product updated with the latest technologies- Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, and writing pragmatic code)- Contribute to team and company standards- Mentor team members and help them grow- Document the code and its implementationIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS- Experience leading app development (iOS and Android)- A sincere commitment to crafting readable, reliable, and well-tested code- 3+ years of industry experience- Fluent in English- Experience or willingness to be a part of entrepreneurial environment and lean start-upREQUIRED - Passion and interest in women’s rights, gender equality, and music.
