Looking for parents / founders to give feedback on an interactive podcast platform for kids

Hello,

I am looking for a couple of people who have young kids (more starting 2-3 yo until teenager age) / have experience with young kids / founders to share and brainstorm on a start-up idea.

The pain point I want to solve is kids have too much screen time nowadays, but it seems to be an efficient way to occupy them, what if there is an interactive audio-only way for them to learn, and build their own story.

The idea is to build a platform to host audio-only content (it can be starting with content from existing publishers / podcasts), with strict parental control, and a friendly user interface, then moving forward, can incorporate AI-voice assistant so the kids can interact directly with the content, and create their own story that can be published, or it can become a community of stories (like stories built by kids for kids).

I know that there are a couple of apps out there, but i believe the market is big enough, as long as we find the right angle and build momentum.

I would love to get all the feedback possible on 1) product; 2)pain points: 3)potential distribution channels; 4)what monetization model would be suitable; 5)any advice to kick this off

i can jump on a call quickly or slack or dm

Hi there! I'm a mom of 2 toddlers. I would love to help. I've actually been looking for something similar recently ! This is a cool idea. DM me and we can connect and I can share some thoughts with you.
sounds like you should connect with @romym potentially? https://elpha.com/posts/c5zfuynv/kids-app-feedback
@charlenelin1 -- I have a 3yo and a 5.5yo. We use Yoto and podcasts on Spotify daily to fill their non-screen time cup. Happy to connect if you have specific questions.
