Dear Elpha Community,

I'm writing to bring attention to the devastating earthquake that has occurred in Turkey. The scale of destruction is immense, with 13,000,000 individuals impacted across 10 cities. Currently, the death toll stands at nearly 32,000 people and is unfortunately increasing by the second. There are fears that up to 150,000 people may still be trapped under the rubble.

Half of the buildings have collapsed and the remaining structures are either unusable or too dangerous to inhabit. The earthquake has had a profound effect on the affected individuals, who have lost loved ones, homes, jobs, and essentially everything they had.

We acknowledge that even those of us who have not been directly impacted are also struggling. It is difficult to concentrate on daily tasks, and many of us feel survivor's guilt. We are fortunate to have running water and showering facilities, but the reality is that we live in an earthquake zone and could be in the same position as those affected.

Therefore, I ask the community to offer their support in every possible way.I have chosen to donate to Ahbap, but any contributions, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in light of the inflation rate.
