This group is for anyone (like me) who is tired of being forced into all-or-nothing decisions between a career and worthy social causes (including parenthood and deep neighborhood support networks) that are essential to the long-term existence of a high-functioning society. This includes parents (like me) who love their work too much to set it aside forever when kids come along, but love their kids too much to put them in second place priority-wise.I hope this group will be able to support collaborative freelancing/consulting, job-sharing, and/or the construction of easily accessible custom rooftop glass floors (as opposed to ceilings), in addition to networking and mutual support.
