How to transition from one career path into another with limited experience

After twenty five years as an Executive Assistant for C-level individuals, I am looking to expand out of the EA pigeon hole, and find a way to utilize my marketing education (recently obtained) to break into the industry, even at an entry level. Looking for advice on how to work my resume to showcase my marketing knowledge in the best light to overcome the "stigma" of my career journey so I am not just seen as an "Assistant". Any insight would be invaluable.
Hi Katie! If you wanted a second pair of eyes on your resume, DM me and I can send you my email. I'm not a career coach or anything but if you wanted feedback, happy to share. Also have you tried taking on projects in marketing to at least add to your experience? You can always offer your services for free to companies and ask for recommendation or referral in return if they're happy with the product. Could be a good way to get your name out there.
