TechUp Africa is an initiative of the Pan African Women Empowerment Network (https://www.pawen.org) with a singular objective of closing this gap by empowering 100 women with the competence, confidence, and connections to transit and succeed in tech careers.
To achieve this goal, we need the support of experienced Tech professionals to serve as volunteer mentors for the program.
Mentors will:1. Host one of the break-out sessions in their area of expertise during the women in tech conference2. Mentor 1-5 women to transit successfully to careers in their area of expertise.
For example, a cybersecurity mentor will:1. Feature as a speaker on the cybersecurity track during our Women in Tech Conference2. Mentor 1-5 women as they transition to a cybersecurity Career
The Women in Tech conference will take place on March 5, 2022, in commemoration of International Women's Day 2022. After that, the mentorship program begins. Please complete the form below should you be interested in volunteering as a mentor and we will contact you with further information.
