I built Cosmos to browse, tag, and search my media files on my mac. It runs locally so no data ever leaves your computer and it also works offline. I use it to search for clips when I'm editing video (there is an Adobe Premiere extension), but I think there are other applications where it could be useful, like photography, design, event planning, real estate, etc.
