Desperate for employment

Hi all,

I've been unemployed for 7 consecutive months and it's taken a toll on my finances as well as my mental health. I've been struggling to keep the bills paid and I've gotten an eviction notice. I've worked odd jobs to stay afloat but the stress is driving me crazy. I'm a single mother of one. I hate to take it to this extreme but I'm contemplating dropping my daughter at my parent's house and ending my life so that my daughter will have access to my insurance funds.

In a last attempt to stay alive.. I've got data entry experience, military HR experience, and recruiting/people operations experience. I recently obtained a Six Sigma White Belt certification (I could not afford a paid BB certification) and a basic PMP certification. I was on track to getting a few Scrum Master certifications but I'm not sure I have the motivation to go through with them. Any and all help will be more than greatly appreciated. If you know of any positions available or if you have any connects to any hiring managers I will be more than willing to send them my resume. I don't need sympathy, I need help. Thanks in advance for all who are able to contribute a connection.

First, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this. I just wanted to start by saying that you are absolutely valued and worthy of life, love, and abundance. Your daughter needs you more than she needs your insurance money, and I am 100% certain that she, your parents, and everyone else that loves you would be heartbroken if you weren't here. Second, I can understand that things are pretty desperate right now. Are there steps that you can take to alleviate some of your stress? Would you be able to live with your parents or a friend until you could get back on your feet? That might help, give you a space to actually rest, and allow you to be more clear headed in your job search. Finally, I am a recruiter with a lot of recruiter friends. While I'm not sure if any of my clients have roles that might be a fit, I am very certain that I could find some roles in my network that you could interview for. If you feel up to it, email me at [email protected] and I can see what I can do to help. You're not alone, and things will get better! I'm very proud of you for asking for help, and I hope that you know that you will always have access to a community that you can lean on when life gets too hard to manage alone. Wishing you so much love.
