I've worked in customer service for over 7+ years in various industries. I have always enjoyed the back-end operations and creating spreadsheets which has recently led me to begin a course through Google with Data Analytics. When going through a general search for a job in this market, I find myself discourged as most require a degree or multiple years of experience. Is there a way to break into this field on a more entry-level basis?
Hi Rachel, not a data analyst but I am a career switcher! I would definitely continue going the course route; I think there may even be certifications you can get that you can then put on your resume or LinkedIn that will bolster your candidacy. Most people I've worked with and coached have gone through a bootcamp - and there are even bootcamps that you can do remotely part-time for data! Best of luck.
