SheCodes - reviews & experiences

Hello Elphas! I am a complete beginner looking to code and feel encouraged by some of the testimonials I've read from SheCodes, have any of you been through their three week program? What did you think? Or, do you have any other recommendations for 3, 6, or 9 week courses? I'm really open to training but there are so many choices! Thanks!
Hi @ameliamarchington, I can't speak to SheCodes, but fellow Elpha, @melenie, posted this a few days ago and it looks awesome! https://elpha.com/posts/e8yhwt0e/be-comfortable-failing-an-introduction-to-coding-course
Thanks @beccawilliams! @ameliamarchington congratulations on starting your coding journey! πŸŽ‰ Absolute beginners are my speciality! I would love to hear more about what you'd like to build. Is it websites (like in SheCodes classes) in particular? πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»Website: melenie.co.ukInstagram: @melenie_codes
Hey Melenie! Oh amazing! At this point I am really curious to know which areas have the most demand for entry level positions? I really don't have any preferences right now, really in the recce stage!
Hey Amelia! So excited to hear you’re interested in coding!!! I spent a few months learning to code this summer while looking for work. I highly recommend Fullstack Academy: https://www.fullstackacademy.com. They have a live bootcamp prep class which you take after doing a series of recorded classes and exercises on JavaScript. It’s tough but I think it’s the most affordable and highest quality session that I found. I recommend doing that after you study on your own for a couple months - I really like Codecademy, FreeCodeCamp and I took a couple classes on Udemy. SheCodes is prerecorded classes and I think you can find things that are much cheaper and still great! Also, Codesmith does free workshops that are great (but they will call on you haha). Best of luck with this!!
