So, after months of creating the campaign and trying to find the best ways to gain traction, my crowdfunding campaign has raised its first $30!Look, I know it may not seem like a lot to many people (especially in relation to my big funding goal of $50,000), but it means so much to me.After struggling to build my company for the past 4+ years, with lots (& lots) of tears, frustration, and sadness, I'm finally in a different space of clarity about our mission + vision. I'm also (finally) feeling unapologetic about what I need to do to help us fulfill them. It just feels so good for even 1 person to say "Hey, I see you're doing a thing, in order to do bigger things, and I support you." Sometimes, as an entrepreneur, that's all you need to fuel you for the next little while.

That is so awesome. It can be super daunting to get fundraising projects set up so congratulations on your first funder!!
