Hi. I am the founder of a new mindfulness and self-care app for moms and moms-to-be called Mindful Mamas. We have been live on the App Store for about 10 months and are showing great early traction. We are now needing a technical leader to help us build out our business ecosystem and direct the business through a technical lens. Do you have any advice on where to start our search to fill this role. We need to move quickly :)
Thank you! I really appreciate it :)
Of course :) good luck Terra!
@DigitalWoman is the go-to for advice on hiring CTOs
Oh that Is so good to know. I will try to connect with her.
I was just introduced to Launch Finance which is a fractional CFO agency specializing in start-ups. They may be a great solution for you. I’m meeting with Shauna, one of the co-founders next week. Thought I’d pass this on. http://www.launchfinance.com/
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.
NP - Except, I'm now realizing you were asking for cTo and I gave you cFo. Sorry for the confusion! The dangers of late night Elpha responses. :-)
I just realized I'm attending a webinar about finding a CTO. This is the woman presenting.Nelly YusupovaCTO, Startup Tech Advisor, creator of TechSpeakTwitter: DigitalWomanHere's a short description of the webinar:Does your startup need a CTO? So many early stage non-technical founders who are looking for a co-founder or CTO come up to me and say “I need a CTO”. But what they are really saying is “I need a developer who will work for equity that will code the first version of the product”. That’s because in the early days, the CTO’s main responsibilities will be to build…only write code…there is very little “management” since there is most likely no other developers. I just published a video where you can learn the role of a CTO at different stages of a startup and the SIX qualities that a great CTO should have to be successful in your startup.Ok, now my post is relevant. :PBest wishes.
