Social strategy and employee advocacy program ideas!

Hi there! We are an under-resourced b2b startup that just frankly hasn't put in the time and love into social that we need to. We are working on building a foundational strategy to grow followers and engagement on LinkedIn (and secondly Twitter as we're gov. focused) if anyone has any tips, resources, decks, or articles!

As part of our plan, we're looking to engage our employees via an employee advocacy program. I'm seeing a LOT of tools out there that can support this. Does anyone have any good recommendations that get the job done? Or be honest - is it better to just pull something like this off in-house?
