Any tips on building strong communities?https://dreami.io/

As I'm building a startup that is very mission driven, I would love to learn as much as I can on building strong communities. Are there any tips, courses and resources one would recommend to build a strong and active community? One a secondary note, I am looking for platforms to host community conversations. Facebook and Slack are fairly overwhelming and can get difficult to manage.
I highly recommend this book (there is also a podcast series!) https://gettogether.world/
Yes +1 to this book! It's so actionable & wonderful.
I also recommend this book and podcast! Also, Facebook has a community management certification that would be super helpful.
Hi Ashima, here's a resource guide for community-driven founders which might help you further. Good luck on building your mission-driven startup and I look forward to learning more. If I can help you further please do not hesitate to reach out. https://www.notion.so/200-Community-Driven-Founder-Resources-Guide-a948720e44af432ca494c33dc54c4756

I really like the book Startup Communities by Brad Feld (https://www.amazon.ca/Startup-Communities-Building-Entrepreneurial-Ecosystem/dp/1118441540/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=startup+communities&qid=1617049125&sr=8-3) and CMX has some great resources as well. One thing I will say about building is that having alignment is very important within the organization. What are you goals, what is your mission and how do you plan to accomplish this. Often times community or ecosystem roles are the last to get paid attention to as it can sometimes not be clear what people do in this role. Define your OKRs and ensure that the team is aligned and it will go a long way. Also happy to chat on this as I've built a career around building ecosystem and community within startups and VC.
I just listened to this episode on Mixergy about building communities and you might find it insightful and David just wrote a book called the Business of Belonging which talks about communities ( I haven’t read it yet but from the discussion it seems like a good resource for people interested in communities).https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/startup-stories-mixergy/id348690336?i=1000514521963
As for platforms, I’ve heard good things about Circle but I haven’t tried it yet.
