Hello everyone!

I've just joined this amazing community and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Marilena and I'm originally from a small island close to Greece but I've been living in the UK for 14 years now!

I am an immunologist and I have been in the laboratory for about 8 years working for both industry and universitlies here in the UK. Now I left the lab and I am a study manager for a drug development contract research organisation.

I do like my job but I'd like a little more flexibility, I want more time for myself but on the other hand I want to be involved in science maybe manage clinical trials? I was also thinking working as a contractor so I can have more flexibility.

does anyone have any experience in the clinical trial arena and would be able to talk to me about it?
