Do you imagine a people-centered Future of Work that rejiggers today's top-down power structures?https://www.eventbrite.com/e/people-and-power-advancing-leadership-an-open-space-event-tickets-165969600543

Join us in an Open Space event to explore the theme of People and Power--Advancing Leadership. Co-hosted by the Future of Work meetup group and Startups for All.

Hi Elphas!

I'm a former (well, sometimes still...) product lead and got frustrated with how often I was the only person of color at the leadership table. So, this past February, I founded my own venture, Startups for All, to help increase representation of our most marginalized and underseen populations as startup CEOs, and to create alternative pathways for sustainable, purpose-driven ventures that prioritize founder safety and wellness so that we all have equitable opportunity to rise!

After completing two back-to-back pilot cohorts and taking a pause to recharge with family last month, I'm excited to invite you all to Startups for All's next community event on August 19th, 4 PM - 6 PM Pacific:

People and Power--Advancing Leadership

An Open Space event to explore the theme of *People and Power* and what the future of leadership may look like.

If you're new to Open Space, a self-organizing practice, this is a "dip your toes" opportunity to experience it for yourself and to also make new connections with a global group of Future of Work practitioners and entrepreneurs.

My hope is that everyone walks away from this session with meaningful connections and feeling inspired to do one small thing that helps to refill our proverbial bucket!

Hope to see ya there!

Founder, Startups for All

--

Startups for All is a purpose-driven online incubator for self-funded, early-stage founders from underrepresented populations. Our mission is to build a world with full representation of womxn, women of color, and queer/trans BIPOC as startup CEOs, from less than 1% to 51% by 2026.

Our impact strategy is guided by advancing these two UN Sustainable Development Goals:

Our Vision

We believe in a future of work that embraces the values of community, diversity, and purpose to advance sustainable and equitable economic growth for all, especially amongst today’s most marginalized, underserved, and underrepresented populations.

From the moment an idea or aspiration takes shape, we invite you to reflect and experiment with new ways of building your ecosystem of people, policies, strategies, systems, and new ways of gathering and holding space for equitable participation from all, especially from those with varied lived experiences and perspectives from your own.
