Recommendations for a Life Coach

Hi - I am at the cross-section of my life where lot of things are changing professionally and I need perspective. I am looking for a life coach/therapist who can give me that direction.

I have been very cynical about the value (ROI as it were) that gets provided, but if you have someone in your life that has changed your life personally, I would appreciate to have a conversation with them.

This is one area, where I would not like to get self-recommendations.

Thank you Elphas for your help!

Hi! Not sure if you have a budget in mind but I would like to recommend a gentleman named โ€˜Ricky Sperberโ€™. Heโ€™s an ex-serial entrepreneur and now based out of South America specialising on enhancing individual wellbeing and providing coaching during transitory life stages, both personally and professionally. Happy to make an intro!
Kudos to you for taking this step in your life! As for coaches, we have a lot here on Elpha, tagging a few who come to mind - feel free to engage with either or all to see who can be a fit for your needs @marieofvenus @KQ @AndreaYMacek @sarahing @laurakressmann @aprilmadsen (maybe?) and many more i am missing!
Tagging in @KerrieCarden! She specializes in financial, career, and business coaching
ahh thank you for this - are you both related? :)
Thank you, friend, for thinking of me AND so many others. ๐Ÿ˜ŠI 100% believe in finding the person that's the right fit FOR you. I'm happy to connect and explore whether we're a good fit. In the meantime, if you'd like to get an idea of who I am and what I do, feel free to peruse my site, and share any potential questions that come up: https://www.marieofvenus.com/.
Thank you for tagging me!For the woman who asked, just know that being at a cross -section is normal and expected as life and career demands shift, it can create a lot of emotions and what if's. As an initial resource, I've shared the link to the podcast I was recently on where I talk candidly about this intersection, specifically for women and steps you can start to take to unravel the confusion. https://www.aymconsulting.io/career-directionAs for ROI, like any industry there are incredible coaches and bad ones. Make sure you research the person and ask them about ROI. Before you connect with a coach, get clear on what ROI means for you and what support you need -i.e. do you need a coach who offers accountability and step by step process? And, also be honest with yourself about what roadblocks you may have around ROI -many women I work with are uneasy about adding anything else onto their plate. Those who choose to move forward don't look back and see ROI right away. With that clarity, research the coach reach out to them so that you can ask those questions. I will say coaches who are committed to ROI offer complimentary calls before you enter an engagement with them -that gives you both a chance to meet and asses fit. Coaching, like thearpy is very personal. I Hope this helps. Please reach out if you'd like to chat more about what I've shared. Cheering for you!
Thank you all so much!!! I will reach out to the recommended individuals!
Hi love! Thx @iynna for the tag! Best way to feel my vibe is my podcast, sacred rebel or my instagram @rewildingkq. Trust yourself + follow the energy.
Hi, I will tag someone here who has changed my life and is good at what he does, linkedin.com/in/chengeer and he does a discovery call so you can get a feel of how he works.
First of all - well done for recognizing that you want help in changing your profession. Itโ€™s not easy to do! I would absolutely recommend my friend @carriewickmandorn who is also a member here on Elpha. I referred several people to her and they gave rave reviews. She helps you define core values and what you want out of a career and life in general, and then she has super practical advice on how to be accountable and make the changes happen. She offers a free chemistry session so you can test the waters and see if you are a good fit before committing to anything. https://www.carriewickmandorn.com/contactGood luck in your journey!
Hey Daniela, I'm adding kudos to getting out and looking for support! I think I can relate to your request - I felt disoriented and at the crossroads last year after going through the layoffs. I've started working with the coach, and I can certainly tell that my personal growth skyrocketed since then! His name is Georgy, here is his Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gsimonyan/I can't recommend him enough!
