Lots of doubts and conversations over the "open to work" badge on LinkedIn...here's a piece of info that settles it: 70% of recruiters appreciate the visibility on active job searchers, and 18% find the info irrelevant (because they search for competencies not for speed). Only 7% of recruiters fail to understand how networking and talent marketing works, interpreting the badge as a sign of desperation.
I'm more interested in the 70% than in the 7% :)
