Hello All - I'm curious if anyone has any insight/advice on how best to network for contract jobs ?
I'd approach it the same way you'd approach any job - if you already know what companies you're interested in (but aren't aware of contract jobs there yet), I'd get in touch with someone there, either through warm intros or cold outreach if you aren't connected somehow already. One thing I'd not do is to position it as "I'm looking for a role at your company" but more to learn about the person, the company, the challenges etc and eventually tell about yourself and what's next for you (that's when you'd drop what you've done before and what you want to do next and why specifically contract would makes sense). The other thing is to simply look for those and apply directly!
