Hi! I'm Vrinda, CEO & Founder of Sequin: the first debit card that builds women's credit. As background, I was rejected from the credit card I built at Visa (the Chase Sapphire Reserve)! Despite having a decent income, I lacked credit history and didn't realize until it was too late.
I left Visa to build Sequin because it was time women got the credit we deserve (even though less than 3% of fintech founders are women, and even fewer are first-generation immigrants).
This journey hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it to co-create a product that centers women's personal struggles with credit - regardless of income or life stage.
Today, I'm proud to announce:
Sequin is live and on Product Hunt! I'd love for the women of Elpha to try it out and let me know what you think (no credit check required!).
p.s. We're still in our first iteration of the Sequin Card, and are looking for beta testers to co-create with. Feel free to invite friends! We're reserving coral-colored Sequin Cards for our first users - who decided cards should be black or blue!?
AMA about Sequin, Credit, Fintech, or Entrepreneurship. I'll respond in the comments!
