How do you use AI for creating marketing strategy

AI and Gen AI are the rage now. Marketers are also doing their best to keep pace with the change and the evolving AI narrative.

Questions:

1. How do you use AI to create a relevant marketing strategy?

2. What are the do's and don'ts?

3. What are your team's and leadership's expectations in using AI for marketing strategy?

Thanks in advance for your comments/guidance.

Been doing this a lot lately. I find that Perplexity is an excellent tool for almost everything, including strategy building. Some quick tips: give it a role, as the world's best "social media manager", or "CRO" depending on the goal you're after, and feed it a brief just like you would create a brief to share with a team contributing to your strategy (revenue targets, markets, competitors, ICPs, etc). Tell it to ask you any questions it needs clarified to give you the most comprehensive answer. And refine from there.
Thanks. I did that with ChatGPT and the result was terrible. I will check out Perplexity.
@sharonloh I agree with the other person below. It is just a starting point to generate ideas for me. Also, chatgpt gives better results when given a lot of detail and context. All of the information given back from chatgpt is just part of solidifying my research not that I take it directly as written to implement. It may be helpful to mention that as part of your research or development of the marketing strategy Chatgpt was used. At least, it may be helpful to understand the company's policy related to its data and the usage of chatgpt. The technologist/cybersecurity person in me thinks about protecting company assets. Chatgpt directly feeds your details to the internet everytime you give it datapoints. Hope this helps! Have a great week.
Thanks and you are right. Any AI writing tools are a starting point and I will refine the information from there. As a marketer, I share information for everyone to read and see. I will not share information which is not meant to be shared ;)
