The Elpha App on iPhone 13

Hi,

I just wanted to bring this up as person who uses the app frequently - the app UI is not really compatible for iPhone 13. The icons are not positioned properly for easy use and there may be a problem with responsive design for this model of the phone.

I've been meaning to send you some screen shots. The back button is not positioned correctly for iphone 13 (not sure about other phones). Every time you open up a post and want to go back to the last screen it takes you out of the app, which is very frustrating. If you need help with the development or fixing of some of the issues, I would be happy to help as I have an iOS team.

It’s not a permanent solution but if youre only on your phone, I recommend you just use your browser and search for elpha.com

Yes, I understood that it was suggestion for making it easier on the user till it got fixed. But what it also reflects is the confidence in the web platform having a better user experience that perhaps should have been the other way around. My suggestion was to prioritize the app over the web platform in the long term.

I’ve happened to find another bug on the Elpha App! The WYSIWYG text editor used for creating new posts is properly creating the HTML tags but the tags are rendering in plain text for the post snippet. Once you navigate to the post itself the formatting tags are not processed but just appear as line breaks.See : https://elpha.com/posts/rm7ur5gz/engineering-to-product-management
