I had a hard time breaking out of retail leadership and into tech. I had to take a big pay cut and start at the bottom. I luckily worked my way up quickly in Customer Success leadership. My background helped me relate with clients better than any ivy league cookie cutter person. I'm cofounding a company trying to make it easier for the people who come after me to apply their experience and come into a role where they can put their diverse experience to work. How do you think about boot camps & mentor matching vs apprenticeships?
